About Pole Fitness
Are you looking for a new sport to try out? Want to learn some cool tricks but have no experience whatsoever? Or are you bored of doing the same workouts at the gym (be it weights or cardio)?
Look no further! Soon to be an Olympic sport, pole is becoming more mainstream every day and at Hull Uni, we are an ever-growing bunch, gaining more members every year.
Don’t let ‘Olympic sport’ fool you, pole is as hilarious as it is fun which allows us to build great friendships very easily.
We train every week at P4F down Springbank West and also hold stretch classes to improve members strength and flexibility… we also social regularly and make sure to cater to both our drinking and non-drinking members!
We're also looking to start entering confident and experienced members into competitions this year, from beginners to advanced categories; we are so excited to be planning our own Pole Retreat at the end of the year!

All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students’ Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
