Hello! Welcome to the Law Society, a society which provides you with endless possibilities whilst on your journey at university. As one of the biggest societies on campus we provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable skills which will improve your CV significantly whilst having fun and making friends. Here at the Law Society we hold events throughout the year which give you guidance and knowledge about how to excel in your chosen career path and provide you with the support to get ahead. We also hold several different competitions which are; Advocacy, mooting, negotiations, and client interviewing with local firms. Our competitions provide you with the perfect opportunity to get some practical experience whilst providing you with the ability to network with other students and firms. We also provide the opportunity to get involved with the local community through our amazing probono schemes; Young offenders, asylum seekers and housing. Give back and experience some real life legal work helping those in need. Outside of our competitions and events we socialise! We have socials every two weeks on a Monday where we play games and get to know each other more! The Law society is the perfect place for you to establish long lasting friendships both in and out of your course.
