About Photography Society

We are a society for everyone with an interest in photography. Whether you are completely new to photography or a seasoned enthusiast we invite you to join us.

Each year we run a variety of trips, socials, competitions and workshops where you will have the opportunity to socialise and develop and enjoy your photography with likeminded people.

Our workshops will run in the evenings by members of the society who have a passion for different areas and types of photography. The workshops are an excellent way of learning and testing new skills.

This year we hope to run workshops on the following areas:

• Events Photography
• Landscape Photography
• Wildlife Photography
• Night Photography
• Studio Photography
• Film Photography
• Editing (Using Photoshop and Lightroom)
• Budget Photography (What and where to buy the best value for money kit)

As a member of the society, there may also be opportunities for paid work through the year as many other societies, groups and individuals come to us for help photographing a variety of events.
