The Hull University Union Awards is a free annual event that celebrates the efforts and achievements of our incredible students who volunteer throughout Hull University Union.
All of the students who are involved in volunteering as a committee member of a sport or society, HUSSO, LINKS, Student Media, RAG, and our Course Rep system are just a few of the significant contributors within HUU.
You might not even think of yourself as a volunteer, but if you’re on a committee for a society or sports team, part of student media, contribute to liberation campaigns, a course rep or give your time to improve the lives of other students, then you’re a volunteer!
The Hull University Union Awards ceremony takes place in Asylum and is a completely free evening with food, drink and entertainment to reward and recognise the essential contribution of student volunteers within Hull University Union, and is a night of celebration year on year.
Nominations open on Monday 9th March and close on Sunday 22nd March. All shortlisted candidates are given a priority invitation with a guest and will be informed on Monday 30th March, and remaining numbers will be filled with non-shortlisted nominees on a first come, first served basis.
This year's awards take place on Saturday 25th April.
You can find the Nomination Form with all the categories here.
