Give It A Go - International Women's Day

Join HUU in celebrating International Women’s Day 2019 with an inspiring talk, lunch and refreshments.
Rachel Alexander, author of Courage Queen will be giving a talk on empowering young students by celebrating women and calling for change.
How women need courage to be successful in their own right.
• Be Yourself
• Say No to others
• Say No to society norms i.e. children/marriage
• Taking responsibility - what this looks like - i.e. reading emails. Stop making excuse
• Growing up from parents and learning to psychologically mature
• Cooking, mental health, independence
• Life after during and after uni
• Inside qualities over outside looks - intuition etc
• Be your own version of success - part time/full time/own business etc
Tickets for this event cost £5. Please book your place for this event online or through HUU Reception Mon – Fri between 10am-4pm. Tickets will be on sale from Monday 7th January at 9am until they sell out or Thursday 7th March at 3pm
