A Very British Welcome - Afternoon Tea

Hosted by your Student Union GIAG team, our local Women's Institute and our Raising and Giving Team (RAG)

EVENT DETAILS

Our wonderful local Women's Institute will be serving their delicious homemade cakes washed down with tea, coffee and juice in our Quiet Space are on the 1st floor of the Student Union building. Students and their families are invited to join us to relax and unwind on Welcome Weekend whist raising a couple of pounds for RAG's chosen charity of the year (TBC). Pop along any time between 1pm-4pm (Last seating at 3.30pm). 

This will be a great chance to meet fellow students, some of your Student Union staff team and some of our President Team will also be popping in to say hello!  

TICKETS

Tickets will go on sale Thursday 15th August. Tickets will go off sale when they are sold out or on Sunday 15th September at 1pm. There will be tickets available to purchase on the door if the event is not sold out, however we strongly recommended purchasing your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment.  Please book your place for this event online 24/7 or through HUU Reception Mon – Fri between 10am-4pm.

TRANSPORT

Transport is not included for this event. This event will be hosted in our Quiet Space on the 1st floor in Student Central. Walk into the Student Union building and head up the main stair case in front of you, follow the path around to the left and you will find us.

The cost of this trip is subsidised by the students' union by up to 50% using any profits from our commercial offering, so every time you shop in Spar, buy a coffee, pizza or sandwich from EATS or SANC or visit Asylum you are supporting the Give it a Go programme of events. We are a not for profit organisation re-investing all of our profit into services.
