Join us on an informative and interactive walking tour of some of Hull’s oldest cobbled streets! Steeped in tales and mystery, we will take you to some hidden cultural corners of Hull on a guided walk around the city’s historical-cultural quarter of the Old Town, Marina and Fruit Market area.

You will be guided by local historian Mike Covell, whose Amazing Hull Tours regularly give the inside information on the unknown and hidden history of Hull. Expect a whole raft of amazing Hull-based tales and stories whilst exploring the City of Culture and getting to know the City that you've chosen to study in. As an added extra Mike will supply lots of facts and stories around the centre of Hull and how we came to be City of Culture 2017.

Transport is not included for this event. The meeting place is the Queen Victoria statue opposite City Hall in Hull City Centre which you can easily get a bus to the interchange and use the postcode to navigate your way to Hull City Hall by foot which is approximately 5-6 minutes from the bus interchange. The address is Queen Victoria Monument, Carr Ln, Hull, HU1 3DX.

The event is subject to Government guidance and may be delayed or cancelled as a result of any changes. You will be informed of the Covid-19 procedures put in place for the event via your student email address beforehand. 


Get your ticket for £3.50 (usually £5) on the HUSU website so you can be sent the link to the call the day before via your student email. There will be a maximum of 5 spaces available. Tickets will go off sale on Monday 3rd May at 12pm.
