Question Time LIVE: Pt 3

March 14, 2019

As we enter day three of voting we focus on the role of President of Education.

Rosie Russell and Nguper Orden (Simeon) took their seats for the third debate of the night. Watch here or scroll down for the highlights.

The first question of the night focused the hot topic of student HUBS. They were asked how they believed that services at HUBS could be more student friendly? With emotional and health issues being something students may go to HUBS with the candidates talked about how staff could better support students. From 2min 54sec

Next up came a question about how Rosie and Simeon will support students whose courses may be closed to admissions in the future. Both candidates called on the University to communicate decisions more affectively and in a timelier way with students on this and other issues. Find out who said what 6 minutes in.

If you’re still wondering why you should vote from the President of Education with two days left here are two reasons that you should vote for this role.

  1. They lead an academic representation system which allows you to have your voice on your education heard
  2. They listen to you and campaign on issues affecting your education like hidden course costs, university facilities and assessments.
