Statement from the CEO: President Team reform 2022-23
The upcoming President election in 2021 will be the last under the current President Team format. HUSU intends to put forward refreshed and updated roles for the 2022 Elections.
Over the past nine months both the 2019-20 and 20-21 President Teams have been working on a President Reform project with the CEO, Board of Trustees and, of course, through consultation with our members.
If you are considering running this year, please be aware that should you wish to run for a second term in 2022 the role you intend to run for may no longer exist in its current format. This will not affect the right you have to re-run under the terms of our Articles of Association. It will, however, mean that you will be running for one of the newly formatted President roles.
HUSU intend to complete the President Reform work by April 2021, once completed, changes to the President team will be communicated to all.
