This is official notice that Hull University Union (HUU) will be holding general elections as per the following details:


28/02/2018 09:00 Nominations open

07/03/2018 15:00 Nominations close

12/03/2018 09:00 Voting opens

16/03/2018 17:00 Voting closes

  • Councillors for Scrutiny (2x for each zone)
  • Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Officer
  • LGBT+ Officer (2)
  • Women's Officer
  • Disabled Students Officer
  • Mature Students Officer
  • Part-Time Students Officer
  • International Students Officer
  • Postgraduate Research Students Officer
  • Chair RAG
  • Chair Societies Executive Committee

3. Student Trustees

As candidates’ suitability for this role has to be approved by an Appointments Panel prior to election, an application form should also be completed and sent to the Executive Support Co-ordinator by 12 noon on 9 February 2018, together with the Trustee Declaration form.  Interviews will be held by the Appointments Panel week commencing 12 February – interested candidates will need to ensure they are available to attend on this date.  Voting for the elections opens on 12 March and closes on 16 March 2018.
