Monday 11th March 18:00 - Question Time, MR1, Student Central
Tuesday 12th March 09:00 - Voting opens
Friday 15th March 17:00 - Voting closes
How to nominate yourself
After nominations have opened, simply go to hulluniunion.com/nominatenow and follow the directions. If you would like to find out more about running in this year’s elections, please sign up for our mailing list below.
This will provide you with essential information to help you to decide whether running in the elections is right for you and to help you to write your manifesto and plan your campaign. There will also be a number of sessions taking place to inform and support you:

How to vote
During the voting period, simply go to hulluniunion.com/votenow and login with your University username and password.
Members of Hull University Union staff will be across campus with pop up voting booths during the elections period to provide you with a private space in which to vote and answer any questions you may have about voting.

1.3 Student Trustees
Four positions are available.
Candidates’ suitability for this role has to be approved by an Appointments Panel prior to election, and therefore the process is different for student trustee positions.
Nominations open on Monday 11th February and close on 25th February 2019. A nomination form must be completed and submitted via hulluniunion.com/nominatenow by 12 noon on 25 February 2019, as well as a signed Trustee Declaration form handed into the Executive Support Coordinator by this deadline.
Interviews will be held by the Appointments Panel week during the afternoon of Wednesday 6 March 2019 – interested candidates will need to ensure they are available to attend on this date.
Nominations are encouraged from both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Voting for the student trustee elections opens on 12 March and closes on 15 March 2019, as part of the main elections for Hull University Union.
