The Part-Time Officer elections schedule will not be affected by the ongoing COVID-19 situation however, changes have been made to ensure each stage of the elections is a purely digital process.
From March 11th-20th, students registered their interest for roles they would like to nominate themselves for through the Student Union website and were emailed next steps. This week, interested students have been completing online training and essential paperwork, and will submit manifestos and official nominations digitally by the end.
Candidates’ manifestos will be visible at hulluniunion.com/elections/pto/candidates from Friday March 27th for students to view before voting opens on Monday, March 30th, 10am. Voting closes on April 2nd, 4pm. In keeping with previous elections, students can vote exclusively online at hulluniunion.com/votenow.
The planned results night in Sanc will be affected by the closure of Student Central and its commercial services. Results will instead be announced on Hull University Union social media channels on April 3rd. Details for our official social media channels can be found below.
We’d like to thank all candidates for continuing their interest in representing students despite the difficult and changing circumstances and we encourage all students to vote for their representatives when voting opens next week.
