How to nominate yourself

Simply go to and register your interest by filling in the short form before the deadline of 12 noon on Monday 27th September. This doesn’t commit you to running in the election, and you’re not expected to submit a manifesto at this stage – you’re simply expressing your interest.

If you’re not sure which role you would like to run for, please select all of the roles that you are considering.

You will then be offered support and training to help ensure you have all the skills and knowledge you need to run in the elections, including an overview of the elections rules, how to write an effective manifesto and how to plan an elections campaign.

Only after you have had the opportunity to benefit from the training will you then be asked to submit your manifesto – in time for the manifesto deadline of 12 noon on Thursday 30th September.

How to vote

During the voting period, simply go to and login with your University username and password.
