We can be contacted online during working hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. We receive a lot of messages from students and staff, as well as performing our daily tasks, so please bear with us - we will get back to you as soon as we can.
You can email us any enquiries, issues and concerns. Emails are really useful for more serious matters as they help us keep a good track of decisions and key contacts, and this information can also be passed onto the next Student President Team.
If you’ve got a quick question or you would prefer a more informal way of talking, then you can send us a message on Facebook. Please bear in mind that these are our work profiles - if you message us outside of our office hours, we will not reply until we are back in the office.
FACE TO FACE
We work 9.00am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday and you can often find us in Student Central and the wider campus during our working hours. There are a few ways to organise a specific time to see us:
We have open office hours, which means anyone can drop by, from 11.00am-3.00pm. This is suitable for a quick question. We always aim to be in the office during the open office hours, but we can get extremely busy. Normally at least one member of the team will be present to offer help or advice - but if not, message or email to let us know you dropped by.
ARRANGE A MEETING
If you have an issue/concern that will take longer than 15 minutes to discuss, please get in touch so we can block out some time to commit to a meeting. Send us an email or Facebook message to arrange a date and time to meet, and how long (roughly) you think it will take.
EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS
We hope that you feel like you can approach us with any feedback, issues or concerns you have and that you see us as friendly faces. However, if you see us in a social situation please consider if it is the appropriate time to discuss a work/role related issue. Messages received on social media outside of our working hours will not be addressed until the next working day.
