Be a Student Partner and work as part of the Student/Staff Partnership Scheme
Student Partners will work as part of the Student/Staff Partnership Scheme which aims to support projects across the University which will address a range of priorities, both central and localised. Such projects may be pre-determined, identified by the Student/Staff Partnership Steering Group or identified by students and staff via application.
What is the Student/Staff Partnership Scheme?
The scheme builds on the existing partnership between Hull University Union and the University, enabling members of our community (any registered student, Hull University Union, academic and professional services staff) to work together to drive change at the University.
The aims of the scheme are to:
- Develop and implement an operational framework to integrate a meaningful culture of student/staff partnerships across the Institution
- Empower a diverse range of students and staff to enhance their own experience and that of others
- Inform and develop institutional and local strategic priorities and enablers
What is a Student Partner?
A Student Partner will be any registered student at the University of Hull. This work is offered on a fixed term basis for the specified timeframe of the project being undertaken.
The main focus of the role is to work in partnership with fellow students and University or Hull University Union staff on projects designed to improve and enhance an aspect of learning and teaching or the student experience.
