In a society where a professor David Nutt conducted an in-depth study on drugs that concluded alcohol was the most dangerous one and was sacked for doing so, it is important to provide impartial and unbiased evidence-based information to those that need it. Since the current government is lead by the Conservative party and it was them that sacked the professor for this discovery it is not unreasonable to keep NHS information from the education aspect of this idea. Instead, there are other countries that have conducted thorough research and an array of different drugs that provide perhaps an alternative truth to which the UK government and NHS would have you believe. Therefore it is important to at least provide the facts based on scientific evidence confirmed by other professionals working in that respective field to adults that can make their own choices whether to continue or not continue with a drug. The point is; they have the actual facts to make an informed decision.
